In the Marklander

Bloordale Baseball was mentioned in the March edition of The Marklander, the monthly bulletin of the Markland Homes’ Association. Association President Donald Beggs was writing about the changes and improvements to Millwood Park., including the new pathways and soon to be installed garden and more trees and benches. The following is an excerpt from his column:
“In the late summer and fall, the City installed a new outfield fence for the ball diamond in the park. We would like to thank the Bloordale Baseball (League) for its considerable help in planning and financing this installation.”
