Bloordale Baseball house league will start in early July

by | Jun 9, 2021

After much delay, we are pleased to announce that the season will take place this summer!  Here are the details:

Last opportunity to sign up or cancel – if you would like to register, you can still sign up at https://go.teamsnap.com/forms/252072 before Wednesday June 16.  Alternatively, you can still request a full refund by that date. After that date, teams will be formed.

Schedule – assuming the pandemic doesn’t throw any more curve balls, we are planning on running practices the first two weeks of July.  This will be followed by regular season games from mid July until the end of August, and playoffs in September.  We will try to schedule most of the games during weekdays.

Interlock – because registration is down across Etobicoke, we will be playing games with teams from other Etobicoke leagues in some divisions.  This will mean slightly longer commutes to other ball diamonds.

Registration fee reduction – because we will not be holding banquets or offering team pictures this season, we will be refunding each player $60 ($45 for 7U/T-Ball).  The refunds will appear automatically on the credit card used to register.

Safety – there are additional safety protocols that will be in place due the pandemic.  These will be shared later in June.

After a long wait, we’re happy to be able to offer baseball to the youth of our community. Please send an e-mail to [email protected] if you have any questions.  See you (finally) on the ball diamond!
