Major Mosquito A team OBA Finalists

by | Sep 4, 2013

Bloordale’s Major Mosquito “A” team qualified for OBA provincial championships in Niagara Falls on the Labour Day weekend and were very successful.

They started off the weekend with a victory over the host team, Niagara Falls and then bested South-West London and Milton before letting one game slip to Wyoming.    However they still qualified for the semi-finals in this double knock-out tournament.    In the semi-finals they took on Kitchener and came out victorious to advance to the finals in the provincial championships.   In the finals, Bloordale had to face Wyoming again, however, they were unable to defeat the strong Wyoming team and ended up in second place.
