Bloordale Bantam AA Win Bolton tournament

by | Jul 7, 2015

Our Bloordale Bantam AA are proud to be champions of the Bolton Invitational last weekend with a dramatic come-from-behind win in the championship game.

The team went undefeated in round robin play, shutting out both Brantford (10-0) and host Bolton (18-0) before giving up two runs to Waterloo but still coming out on top 9-2.

The went on to once again  beat Brantford 11-5 in the semis to advance to the championships to face a  very strong team from Halton Hills. After falling behind 5-0, our boys found their stride and came back to win 15-5.

Special mention to game MVP’s; Ian Godfrey, Zach Bayfield, Dimitri Zembal, Chris Firmani and Danyel Siddiq.

Great effort by all.
