Minor Peewee A finish 5th in Ontario

by | Sep 4, 2013

After winning the TBA’s, the Bloordale Minor Peewee Rep A team represented Toronto this past weekend at the Provincial Championship in Oshawa. After losing to the Ontario Finalists Friday Night, Bloordale rallied Saturday for a 14-11 come from behind victory over St. Catherines with great pitching, outstanding defense and bats that would not give up.
Bloordale then met Barrie Saturday afternoon and were tied at 10-10 after 5 innings. Behind a total team effort, we held Barrie scoreless for the 6th and 7th inning and won the game 11-10. Bloordale then lost to the home team of Oshawa and ended up finishing in 5th Place out of the 12 teams representing their respective Ontario Regions.
Congratulations to all team members and coaches on an exceptional finish to a great season.
