Bloordale Baseball is out two pitching machines and a generator after thieves cut locks and chains and ‘can-opened’ an anti-theft steel equipment box last Friday night (Aug 10).
The cost of replacing the equipment will exceed $7000. The league executive is developing an action plan for the future to minimize the impact of the theft on our September playoff schedule. A police report has been filed.
