Joey Votto of the Reds receives a cheque for $1,000 from the Sun’s Ken Fidlin on Friday at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. The Reds first baseman and Toronto product is the 2010 Toronto Sun George Gross Sportsperson of the Year, and the money from the award is going to the Bloordale Baseball League.
